"Yes, wrong battery for solar Richie. Is it to late to return it? You can buy 2 - 6 volt batteries that will give a you good start in the right direction with what you paid for this."

"Hello Richie, This is a great battery for a tractor, but a terrible choice for solar.  This is not a deep cycle battery, so it will not take the deep discharges that will be required for our purposes.   The battery will work when you…"

"If your going BIG for power draw look into Magnum Energy ones.. or the Outback models.. they make up to 4000W units that can even do 220VAC.. I'll be running either 2 2000W Xantrex units (in 12v) into 2 separate circuits (I have 1 here now new…"

"Well I run the Midnite Classic 150.. handles upto 96 amps.. The price difference of $360 may hurt some based on weather and temp.. I am in SOUTH Texas.. and while most of the time I may only see like 115-118w from a 145w panel in the summer (tested…"

"Usually they have the 220 AH. Some where between $69.00 and $79.00 plus $9.00 core. That might be higher now since it's been a while since I checked. You might be able to use almost any battery as a trade in, dig around the neighbors yard and…"
