It has been a few months since I saw any reviews or comments on the Tiger Claw 1500w TSW Inverter.  How are they holding up?  Any issues?  Also, I cannot find them on the internet anywhere.  Any…Continue

"Was that the Tiger Claw I sent you, Dale?  It had a load of between 1,000 and 1,150 watts on it.  It had been loaded up for 2-3 hours, with intermittent lesser loads as I turned small wattage items off and on.  The Samlex that…"

"I bought a 25 pound bag at Sam's Club.  I put it in 3 plastic coffee containers, which I recycle every time.  I keep them near the batteries, but far enough away they shouldn't get acid on them if an accident was to happen. "

"Fuses fuses fuses.  They protect the wire from overheating and prevent short circuits.  If the batteries catch fire, you need a fire extinguisher rated for Class C fires.  B:C and A:B:C combination extinguishers are sold…"

"This 12v inverter will require over 850 amps to reach its rated capacity of 10000 watts.  This is a LOT of large wires and BIG battery bank.  If you really need 10000 watts, you need to look at a 48 bolt battery bank.  Wagan only…"

"Are the Cree's the only LED's you are using?  If other brands, what are they.  I might have to migrate the EcoSmart's to remote areas and put in the Cree's to eliminate the interference."

Jesse M replied to dave simmon's discussion Tiger Claw or HF or any other resonable priced Inverter
"Most inverter operator's manuals recommend a certain size wire for certain lengths.  There are many amperage wire gauge charts on the internet to see what fits into your scheme of things.  Always allow for power loss due to inverter…"

"No problem running all of that at the same time.  The AC compressor was much louder due to the modified sine wave.  I am getting it back online in the next few days.  It was replaced by the Tiger Claw."

"Dave: I am not sending it in.  Dale likes tinkering with my destroyed equipment.  He Brought my dead Rogue back.  I will probably send him the Tiger Claw to experiment with.  I am sure he will let us know what killed it."

Jesse M replied to dave simmon's discussion Tiger Claw or HF or any other resonable priced Inverter
"A modified sine wave is good for lighting and electric heating elements.  Motors need a Pure (True) Sine Wave to run cooler and more efficient.  I smoked my Tiger Claw 1500w today with a 500 watt radiator heater, laptop computer, computer…"

"I have not used this inverter, but had the 1500 watt from HF for 2 years. It worked flawlessly for 2 years, until it released the magic smoke.  It was my fault, not the inverters.  I recently bought the 2000 watt HF inverter.  It was…"
